I trained in Art Therapy at the Fox Elms School of Artistic Therapy near Gloucester with Vera Taberner and qualified in 1988. In 1990 I started working as an art Therapist at St Luke's Medical Practice in Stroud, Gloucestershire after having built up my own private practice over the previous two years.
Around this time I also started running my own courses under the name of Indigo both in this country and abroad and helped to found the Hibernia School of Artistic Therapy which I co-carried for several years.
I continued working at St Lukes throughout this time and then in 2004 together with a Biographical Counsellor, started the Oasis programme there. I have subsequently also offered Oasis workshops in different parts of this country and abroad.
I feel very committed to working with and relating the inner journey to the outer one through my work. I feel passionate about helping people discover their own creative potential and use it as an invaluable tool for enriching their lives.
I am a long distance walker and this inspires me on my inner journey as well bringing me new and fresh ideas for my work.
